Flatiron Apartment

For our second project in Interior Design Fundamentals we were given a project to create a client that is moving into an apartment in the Flatiron Building in New York City. We were provided with a floor plan for the apartment and could create the client for this project. After determining our client, we needed to create a concept statement for this client and his/her needs, wants, and design desires. Next, was the fun part to start creating the mood board to visually conceive the client’s aesthetics and design style.

My client is a financial broker that recently moved into the Flatiron building. She loves bold, sleek, high-gloss finishes mixed with transitional pieces of furnishings and artwork. Black is her preferred color of choice, mixed with neutrals, yellow and, of course, a little cheetah print.Mood Board 2.6.18Scanfullsizeoutput_8a2
